Thought I would add one more thing to this thread before it fades into obscurity. Not that anyone really WANTS to remember, but JIC...  There was a new Panthers record set in this past game against the Bengals.

All of us know just how good we played and how dynamic our Offense was as they moved the ball quickly and decisively around the field. In the first half alone we picked up 32 yds of Total Offense, zero (0) 1st downs, 3 completed passes for 9 yards and 2 INTs. WE scored zero (0) points.  So, what was the record..??  I am glad you asked.

This game against the Bengals represents the highest/worst halftime deficit in Panthers history. 35-0.  We were behind by 35 points at halftime. Hard to believe, I know. But it's the truth. Let's hope that record stands forever. I NEVER want to write about us getting beat worse than that... AT HALFTIME.

And PJ Walker was the only quarterback in the NFL who had a "0" quarterback rating in the first half.

Yes, that's true.... Shameful isn't it.??

Interestingly enough, it's happened to the Panthers before. IIRC we had a little-known QB back some years ago who had a zero (0.0) QBR in a game. Don't remember the guys name or date or how long he played in that game..... Just pretty sure WE have had that happen previously. Seems like I read about this somewhere.

BUT, we've never been down by 35 points at half-time before..... NEVER..!!   Wtfsign
