According to 'The Atlantic', the Panthers are NOT expected to pick up Poe's option.....as reported here by Rotoworld.  Before his injury in week 12, Poe was graded as one of the top D Tackles by PFF

Poe has underwhelmed me since we signed him. I actually forgot he was still on the team.

Dead Cap - When you're riding down the highway with the top down and your cap flies off your head and gets run over by the car behind you.

You see them a lot more in the summer time than in the winter.

Funny! But not helpful to my ? That's what's dead $?. Dead money. Is that guranteed $ per year when they are not on our roster.

I think... Why I'm asking. Is that ?

Yeah, it's cap $$$ eaten up by someone no longer on the roster.

(Though I like IIWII's description. Seems like an accurate picture of our team this year.)

Ha! U good iiwii. I laughed too. I've had the cap thing happen. Theme park, big log ride. Poor Duke hat.

I actually lost a Stetson straw while running down river to 'ye olde fishin' hole'. Finally turned boat around just in time to see hat disappear beneath a log in deep water. Tempted to go after it, but decided to chalk it up to "lessons learned".

What this has to do with "dead cap", I don't know...???
