There are a few new names on-board after the latest version of Rookie Minicamp. In addition to our drafted rookies, there were a bunch of UDFAs (UNdrafted guys..), as well as a bunch of small school; less well-known; local talent; and previously scouted guys, as well as some inter-league guys (USFL, XFL, CFL...). Within this fairly large group of potential talent there were a few guys who caught the eyes of the coaches. Here is how that general 'state of confusion' worked out....and the lucky few who worked their way onto the 90 roster.
The really tough stuff is yet to happen. That comes as the early season ramps up toward training camp and the pre-season. Most, if not all, of these guys will fall by the wayside as the 90 roster gets cut down to 53. Only the best will survive.
