FORUM UPGRADED TO THE LATEST VERSION

I have received some emails and messages that the forum was not showing properly for the new members for whatever reason (I rarely open it on my iphone), but it works fine on both of my laptops and desktop at home and both of my work computers.

At any rate, I did upgrade the forum software to the latest version and also updated the theme to the latest version.  Hope this resolves any issues you might be having.

Let me know if it made a difference.

You might have to refresh your page to see any changes.

Sorry about it looking screwy earlier, I was in the middle of the upgrade when I had an urgent bit of business I had to attend.

NOTE:   TO SELECT THE MOBILE VERSION, you need to scroll to the very bottom right and select the IBP Theme.  The Default Theme is Panthersfanz, but the IBP theme does not show the ShoutBox.  Both themes should fit your mobile devices.

Pro Tip:  I pay for this site out of pocket and have since 2004 with no ads or any other type of revenue, so I personally don't want to bear the expense of some of the latest and greatest forum softwares out there which cost several thousand dollars and hundreds more per year for hosting.

Forum works good.

I have noticed a couple of things...

The look is very SLIGHTLY different in the default view. I'm not sure about the difference exactly..... It just looks "cleaner".... like there might be more "whitespace" or something. I know the layout is somewhat different, although it's difficult to point to changes.  One thing I DID notice was the layout on this 'reply' page. I usually use the big button at the top right (Reply To This Topic) for general responses and the little 'reply' in the message itself if I am quoting a specific post from someone else. Anyway, on this particular 'reply' page, the "Smilie" box to the immediate left used to be partially jammed under the text box (the one I'm typing in right now..). NOW, in this version, the text box no longer covers the edge of the "smilies". So, the layout has been modified at least a little......... As I said before, the whole thing just looks "cleaner".

ALSO... The forum responds better. It is noticeably faster loading and "page-to-page" response is better as well. I'm on an iMac right now. Believe me, it's noticeable.

It's obvious , you like Ladypanther better than me LOL .. I have not had the same luck in seeing the site on my laptop. I can't see anything in "HELP" that might reset this so I see the normal page. Any suggestions are welcome . :)

Will this upgrade require me to make more intelligent posts? We could all be in trouble!!!
