After a little study, here's some things to think about...
1) 2020 Round 1 had the most players drafted from a single conference. 14 Players drafted from the SEC.
2) 14 Defensive players; 18 Offensive players drafted.
3) 4 QBs drafted
4) 6 DBs drafted
5) 6 WRs drafted
6) 6 OTs drafted
7) 5 LBs drafted
8) 2 DTs drafted
9) 1 DE; 1 RB; & ! C drafted
10) 4 trades from #13 down. None in the top echelon of the draft
The Panthers reinforced the center of the D-line. Depending on how they fall, we might pick up another one in a late round. We still need to look at a LB probably as well as a DB or two. Couldn't hurt to add an Edge guy, and maybe another O_line guy or two.
