I have a bad feeling that there will be some firings going on tomorrow morning.  Just a hunch, but I don't believe Tepper to be the kind of man to sit back and not take SOME type of action somewhere down the line, rather it be warranted or unwarranted.  Just to save face if nothing else.

I hope that Tepper has learned that his short fuse will not build a team.  Take your lumps and let Dan and Dave try to build something.  Tepper stuck them with a bad QB and short of draft picks.  Morgan said this would take some time.  I think he has a plan.  I hope Tepper finally  lets the football people do their jobs.

Plus....if he fires someone...how is Tepper ever going to get a decent coach to come here?

Evero is a well respected coach...he was given a handicapped defense to begin with....then all the good players left (except Horn) are injured......out for the year.

Injuries have been a big factor this year.  This team was not going to be good...but could have been better.  So...do we need to look at the turf?  The training and conditioning staff?    or is this just really bad luck?  Can't blame that on Dan or on any coaches.

Precisely.  Well said.

Injuries have been a determining factor.  Look at the TURF thing... Every game BOTH TEAMS play on the same field. This is the Panthers 7th game. They've played only three games at home on "the TURF".  The TURF has nothing to do with this....

You hit the nail on the head ... This is a run of RBL (Really Bad Luck). There is no way to account for it.  It just is.....  Golfers have a way to account for happenstance like a ball landing in a bad divot or a muddy sunken footprint, or something else totally 'situational'. They call it the "rub of the green:". You just have to accept it and play the ball where it lies.

The same is true here. Just grin and bear it ... and keep on "keeping on".

I agree, but I have that bad feeling Tepper is one of those "...and HEADS WILL ROLL!" types of people.

At this point I don't know who he could fire .

I feel we have reached a point ,,  ( rock bottom ) with 3 wins in the last 21 games.

Yesterdays game wasn't watchable as a Panther fan.

I think the local fan base that spends their money at BOA stadium will just stop coming .  When this happens,  owners start getting conversations from other cities what want to be an NFL city.   The bad blood between our owner and the fan base will  grow if we keep losing like this.  We might lose our team.   Many won't care.  But just like Detroit,  losers for decades ,  the tide will turn..  We will win again,,  but no one knows when.

Im thinking Tepper might have to start over paying players,,, go over the cap is necessary,,  pay the fines..   Or no good players in volume will come here .   We have very few good players.

Sometimes..there is nothing else to do but football in the fall..   College football was very good Saturday.  Since I don't really have a fav college team..  I can jump on the Tenn or Georgia bandwagons...  (  Unc  NCSU,  Wake,  Duke ( maybe Duke, 6-1 ) and ECU  are bad ) ..

It's  just sad to think our glory days are over... for years to come

I was a 49ers fan for more than two decades before we got the Panthers in Charlotte. If the Panthers leave the Carolinas, I'll go back to the 49ers.

As far as college teams, I am a huge Gamecocks fan.
