The Panthers have not completed Week 12, but some teams have. All we hear, every day, all day long is how terrible the Panthers are. The Panthers are "the worst team in the league". The Panthers have "the worst management in the league". The Panthers have "the worst facility in the league". The Panthers "can't beat anyone". The Panthers "are a pushover team". ---- Blah, blah, blah.....
Well, for those who care, here is a little breakdown of the teams in the league that are very close to the Panthers, OR -- are worse. You decide..!!
The Panthers are 3-7 and are showing signs of improvement and are playing decently (generally speaking..).
NFC Teams:
NY Giants .... 2-8
Cowboys ..... 3-7
Bears .............. 4-6
TB Bucs ........ 4-6
NO Saints .... 4-7
AFC Teams:
Patriots ....... 3-8
Jets ................ 3-8
Dolphins .... 4-6
Raiders ....... 2-8
Browns ....... 2-8
Bengals ...... 4-7
Jaguars ....... 2-9
Titans ........... 2-8
Looks to me as if there is a LOT of competition for the "WORST" of anything in this league.

Did you hear that the Giants not only bench Daniel Jones, but they moved him to SAFETY on the Practice Team? True story dude. Can't make this stuff up.
And yeah, there is a LOT of suck to go around this year.

YES... I did hear about Jones. Apparently, the Giants were concerned about his contract and the "Injury clause". Supposedly, the Giants were on the hook for 23 million in addition to the dead money on his contract for next year. The total being 45-50 million if he were to be injured and still recovering in March of 2025. So his injury clause kicks in for an additional 23 Mil which would pretty much destroy the Giants off-season acquisitions in Free Agency. This way, they're still on the hook for his contract guarantees but they will save the injury money. Gives them a little wiggle room in F.A.
IF you can believe what the pundits are saying...

Misery loves company. I think we are trending up. Hope that proves true regardless of w/l. Like Canales said, get better every week. I can feel that. Fight n compete every week going forward.

Aaaaaand he’s been released today.
The New York Giants have released quarterback Daniel Jones, the team announced Friday.
“Daniel came to see me this morning and asked if we would release him,” Giants president John Mara said in a statement. “We mutually agreed that would be best for him and for the team.

He seems like a good guy. Hope he finds the right spot with his next move.

I guess he didn't play well at safety. I just knew that would be a good fit for him.

AGREED -- He's not the only one though. Lots of moves being made right now.... or contemplated.

LOL... Well, yeah, I guess. Cruel, cruel, cruel...
There are a lot of QBs who are being "forced" to play in the NFL WAY too soon. They really need a little 'seasoning' before being thrown to the wolves. I know everyone 'wants' their draft picks to jump in there and make a big splash. But the truth is, almost all of them are just not ready to perform at NFL level. If we could just lower our expectations a little bit.....???
