The improvement in Bryce is impressive. He seems humble and coachable. He is making better decisions and is decisive. There are times when he makes an amazing throw, Seems like Canales has been good for him. Currently does not resemble the player he was last year.
I am excited for the future. I think Morgan will add some good players to the team.
Hmmm.... IDK.
WSSWWSS -- or something like that. I am cautiously optimistic. But there is a lot of space (and time) between the acorn and the oak.

He's "almost" there, not completely sold yet. If he can learn to throw the deep ball downfield (like other actual quarterbacks do), I'll be sold. He has definitely improved immensely since last year and the early part of this season

Yep.... Kinda, Sorta. "Almost there" = Hmm, I don't know about that...
BY has definitely improved. No doubt about it. However, I don't believe that HE deserves all of the props. Dan and Dave are building a team. I hope it continues. Right now, as we sit here, Young is nothing more than a 'game manager'. Of course, realistically speaking, most NFL QBs are 'game managers', so..... Anyway, BY has a long way to go before he will be a true #1, at least in my eyes. He hasn't faced a lot of GOOD teams. AND, he hasn't faced a steady diet of the best the NFL has to offer. Let's give him a few years before, you know, ( ... "Sliced Bread, Move Over -- There's a new sheriff in town"). Nope, not yet, no sirree Bob. I'm going to want to see more than a few games. I want to see a few seasons of exemplary play. More wins than losses. Multiple years of winning seasons, leadership and honors, Pro Bowls, All-Pros, etc., etc. --- THEN we can talk about how great BY is.
Until then.... ¿Quien sabe? There are at least 20 (or more) #1 QBs in this league I would rather see under center for the Panthers.... Seriously... If you could rank BY, where would he "fit" in the league right now.?? I would have to think about it, but I can guarantee it would NOT be anywhere near the top.
Hmmm, maybe that would be a good exercise.? I'll think about it....

I like what I've seen the last 6 weeks.
Yesterday , once again he did enough to win the game against , the number 1 defense in the NFC ??
He doesn't resemble the QB of our first two games this season.
Yesterday against the number one defense , we won the battle of time of possession 33 to 26 min..
Bryce had what appears to be a bad interception.. We controlled the clock running the ball.
Xavier Legette dropped 3 passes on the potential game winning drive. It would be 4 but they don't count the one he dropped when Bryce crossed the line of scrimmage and threw to Legette.
Ladies.. Gents, I whined about Bryce being soooooooooo bad week one and two. I whined about how bad our linebackers were the first 5 games. The linebackers have stepped it up the last 6 games. They aren't great, but their doing their job better. Bryce is doing better..
Legette got to step it up. He's bad
Sorry, still firmly believe Bryce, while a nice person, will never be a NFL qb that can take a team, any team, to the next level. Hope I am wrong but these results in the win column is all that matters. There has been some great play calling. Outstanding play calling but when your qb has to throw a jump pass you still have an issue. And his arm strength is non existent.

That's what I worry about as well. So far this season, I have watched South Carolina Gamecocks redshirt freshman Quarterback LaNorris Sellers throwing balls that looked like they were being thrown by Big Ben Rothlisberger, even placing them in tight places where I was certain would result in disaster, but they didn't. Bryce is so far behind even this freshman college quarterback that I still "doubt" he will ever be truly an NFL caliber quarterback.
Positive comments on Bryce by an Athletics writer:
Anyone ready to revisit that Bryce Young–C.J. Stroud debate yet?
And it wasn’t even an argument last year, as everyone was thrashing Young, the No. 1 draft pick, while the No. 2 pick Stroud had a great rookie season for the Houston Texans. Young then got benched by the Carolina Panthers for old man Andy Dalton in September but got his job back when Dalton was in a car accident.
And Young has risen out of the ashes, playing a loose, fun style and almost beating the mighty Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles the last three weeks. If not for an ugly drop by Xavier Legette, Young would be the talk of the league for a 98-yard drive (without timeouts) to beat the Eagles at the buzzer last Sunday.
As it is, the Panthers have covered five straight games (2-3 overall) and, for the first time in two years, are favored in Sunday’s home game against the Dallas Cowboys.
We will be on them again, and while we were officially 4-1 in our best bets last week, many of you probably went 5-0 or 4-0-1. We had the Miami Dolphins -6.5 against the New York Jets, but it was 6 by Friday and 5.5 by Saturday. And they won by 6.
Like Young, we are back, footloose and fancy-free right now.
