We've been discussing QB issues recently. There is still no hint which way the Panthers are leaning....and it's still E A R L Y.  But just for gen. info. (and your viewing pleasure.!!), along with making room here for qualitative discussion, I have gathered together some QB draft rankings so you don't have to go looking.... (See what a nice guy I am.!!!).  Big Grin

I've also included the links if you want to look for yourself (like I'm not trustworthy or something..!!)  Rolleyes

First up is Bleacher Report. Their Big Board (all positions..) lists seven (7) QBs in the top 100 draft eligible players. They are as follows:
#2  Joe Burrow (LSU)
#7 Tug Tagovaiola (Alabama) (Had to check spelling of his name three times...SMH.)
#28 Justin Herbert (Oregon)
#45 Jordan Love (Utah State)
#46 Jacob Eason (Washington)
#61 Jake Fromm (Georgia)
#76 Jalen Hurts (Oklahoma)

So this listing represents roughly the draftable QBs through the first three rounds. ***NOTE--Interesting Tidbit*** 6 of the 7 QBs on this board names all begin with "J" !!!!!---- Only TUG (poor guy) is left out.

Next is CBSsports Top 250.  Their Big Board lists six (6) QBs in the top 100. They are the same ones listed at Bleacher Report except Jalen Hurts is left out.:
#2 Joe Burrow (LSU)
#3 Tug Tagovaiola (Alabama)
#20 Justin Herbert (Oregon)
#33 Jordan Love (Utah state)
#34 Jacob Eason (Washington)
#93 Jake Fromm (Georgia)

Next up lets look at The Draft Network. Their Big Board list seven (7) QBs in the top 100. Once again they are the same as previously listed...Only the position numbers are different.
#2 Joe Burrow
#5 Tug Tagovaiola
#15 Justin Herbert
#34 Jordan Love
#50 Jacob Eason
#65 Jake Fromm
#66 Jalen Hurts

Okay are you waiting for Sports Illustrated..??  Here is their ranking of QBs ONLY--Numbers 1-10
#1 Joe Burrow
#2 Tug Tagovaiola
#3 Justin Herber
#4 Jordan Love
#5 Jacob Eason
#6 Jake Fromm
#7 Anthony Gordon (Washington State)
#8 Jalen Hurts
#9 James Morgan (FIU)
#10 Steven Montez (Colorado)

Next up is DraftTek.. Their Big Board lists seven (7) QBs in the top 100. Same seven players but ranking changes  (some significant..).
#1 Joe Burrow
#7 Tug Tagovaiola
#8 Justin Herbert
#34 Jake Fromm
#49 Joran Love
#66 Jalen Hurts
#74 Jacob Eason

Here is the last one for today--Walter Football.. Their ranking of QBs ONLY 1-10....
#1 Joe Burrow
#2 Tug Tagovaiola
#3 Justin Herbert
#4 Jordan Love
#5 Jake Fromm
#6 Jacob Eason
#7 Steven Montez
#8 Jalen Hurts
#9 James Morgan
#10 Nate Stanley (Iowa)

So..... There you have it.  At this admittedly V E R Y early date, these are the QBs that are leading the draft boards.  It looks like Tug (ugh) is in 2nd place even with his recent injury and his extensive injury history. I don't understand it, but there it is. Justin Herbert is a solid #3 with a possible top 10 slot, but favoring the middle of the first round. Jordan Love is solid at #4, with Fromm and Eason trading around for #5 & #6.  Three solid first rounders (Burrow, Tagovaiola, Herbert..); Love somewhere at the top to middle of the second; Fromm and Eason bouncing around from the high second to the high third.

NOW....all of this will definitely change come Combine and Pro days...!!!

Tug reminds me of Russell Wilson. That's not a bad thing. Looks like he is running for his life a lot. I wonder about his hip injury though.

If I had to choose between Tug and Herbert, I would take Herbert. I like his accuracy and arm, and can still bust one with his two feet and get a TD. We need to fix our O-Line.

The one thing I think we all, who have watched more than five seasons of football, know is that top rated quarterbacks don't always pan out in the NFL, and just because a quarterback is undrafted or way down the list doesn't mean he won't be the next GOAT in the NFL. It's a tough job picking em.

Yup, but behind a bad ol almost all of them fail. We shore up the l side, now. If not qb goes down. I like little n Dailey, but will they work together? Moton n Turner are good. C, lg, lt need settling. Just think o line first. Plus Cam is on the roster. If we are a qb away, he's as close to it as we have. Not saying we are. We need defense. Not every round, but close. Te, ol depth; fa, or late draft. Need dl, db, n lb. maybe/probably more than 1.
