DeAngelo Hall.  I'm sure Smitty will love this move lol

But, Y'all listen.  If the Panthers build this team the way they are building their coaching staff, I'm all on board.  Headbang

Panthers hire DeAngelo Hall as assistant defensive backs coach (msn.com)

As first reported by NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero on Saturday night, and later confirmed by the team, DeAngelo Hall has now been hired as an assistant defensive backs coach. The former cornerback has spent the last few years on television—working analyst gigs for NBC Sports Washington, Fox Sports 1 and NFL Network.

Hall was selected by the Atlanta Falcons with the eighth overall pick of the 2004 NFL draft. The Virginia Tech standout promptly made his presence felt, earning back-to-back Pro Bowl nods in his second and third campaigns.

After moving on to the then Oakland Raiders for half of a season, Hall signed on with the then Washington Redskins in November of 2008. He’d go on to spend a decade in the nation’s capital and finished his career with one more Pro Bowl selection in 2010.
