With stories like this, there is the ever-oresent reality that the real "truth" will never be known. I know there must be a reason for a development of this size and timing. Often times the "back-story" is too juicy to print. It might cause unnecessary embarrassment to players or personnel. Also, it's possible that Chaisson just decided it was time to "hang 'em up". Given his lack of effective play over the first four years of his career, it would seem as if he might have given up.....
