Sort of what I expected. Cold injury is very real. I did NOT realize that optimum temps were that high (99 degrees is really sort of HOT..). Don't think we need to worry about the eggs getting too warm..!!
Below 29 degrees and the embryos die. So, lets hope they don't lay any eggs right now.!! I am worried about mom and dad too, but the eggs are primary. I can't see them keeping those eggs warm enough during this cold snap. Maybe the temps will warm up in the next day or two...
She laid 1 egg yesterday. Eggs are laid about 3 days apart.
