Everyone expects their ticket to win the lottery. I hope Corral ends up being the next Russel Wilson but the odds are against it (and IMO, the only chance is if he sits and learns a while).

Latest talk says Baker Mayfield was in Charlotte today for his entry physical. NOW, the super-latest talk says the physical is completed and Mayfield has met the requirements for the trade to move forward.

So THAT puts the "OFFICIAL" stamp on the process and makes the trade a 'done deal'. Baker is recovering from an early surgery on his NON-throwing shoulder. He supposedly injured it in Game #2 last year. The Panthers weren't TOO worried because it was his left arm, but he was apparently dealing with some pain. The surgery was to repair a torn labrum. The labrum forms part of the cup that the upper arm fits into. Supposed to be a rather 'easy' repair.

Baker has already gone through recovery and post-op treatments. He should be ready for camp...

What always concerns me is when a player is received via trade, etc., and we don't hear hide nor hair from him for several days or longer. I would have thought there would at least have been a phone interview with him by now.

Agreed….Especially because he was already here in Carolina for the physical. Seems like he would have taken a few minutes and did a short video if not a news conference.
