Could happen. I don't think it will at #8, but maybe..??

There's really only one WR that COULD go that high. Tetairoa McMillan (Ariz). He is a weapon for sure. However, is he worth a high pick in the 1st.?? Depends on who you ask. My Consensus Board has an overall grade of #8 on him (interesting, no??). No one has mocked him to the Panthers, though. I suspect he will go higher than that, OR... he'll drop down a ways. I really expect him to be gone before #8.
Other than McMillan, there are three other WRs who have 1st round grades (according to my Consensus Board). They are:
Matthew Golden (Texas) @ #26 Emeka Egbuka (Ohio St.) @ #28 Luther Burden (Missouri) @ #29
After these guys there are three near the bottom of the 2nd round.

Best player available.. or trade back .. ?
I'm hoping we still do something at LB or DE with the 8th pick.. Trade back is nice... if we get extra picks.. and we don't draft someone that has an injury ( Brooks. ) I think that was a lesson learned.
I hope you are right. Think you probably are.
I am hoping for a trade back if we can. Provided the board still looks good. Otherwise it is a long time until our 2nd pick.
