I knew they played together at Alabama, but after watching this highlights video of Bryce Young to John Metchie III, I'm thinking Metchie and McMillan are likely going to give opposing secondaries fits this season.  And you can see the chemistry is already there with him and Bryce Young.    Xavier might be the odd man out.  Coker's in there like a hair in a biscuit. Cool Worship

The Panthers are sure throwing the "kitchen sink" at the WR position. No one will ever be able to say that BY didn't have enough receivers. I don't profess to know what the Panthers are going to do with the WR room. But I'll bet on one thing-- We have NOT seen the last of Xavier Leggett. The Panthers might end up trading him, but I refuse to believe that it'll happen THIS year. There's no way the F.O. will dump a 1st round pick after two years.  Not possible.

My personal opinion is XL will become a high quality WR. Somehow he needs to inspire some confidence in the coaching staff. If not -- he will be a sought-after WR on the trade market -- maybe in 2027.

I have heard the "talking heads" discussing that the Panthers and Xavier would both be better if they converted him to a TE.  He is one helluva blocker and has proven that already, plus he's a big strong body.

I used t hear it said that it took a receiver until year 3 to pay off.  Times seemed to have changed but am hoping year 3 is when XL finally puts it together.
