After thinking about this, I've come to the conclusion that THIS possibility, while being remote, could make a lot of sense. Burrow has already indicated that he would prefer to play somewhere other than Cincinnati. And pairing him up with his former coach, Joe Brady, NOW the Panthers Offensive guy, makes an awful lot of sense.!!

In any event, this probably won't happen. It would cost some draft capital, without a doubt. But the Panthers COULD shop Cam to recoup some picks..... And, with Tepper behind the scenes, who knows. He certainly has the moxie and the flair for the dramatic. So, could this happen..?? Absolutely.!!
Something to think about---and consider.
Burrows "comes clean" ----- says he would report to Cincinnati if they draft him. Says he won't "force" a trade. Of course, he's not saying anything about his preference.!!

So, unless there is a "Godfather" offer, it appears that Cincinnati is in the driver's seat with respect to the #1 pick. Of course, this is saying nothing about what his agent(s) are saying behind the scenes. With the right offer, anything could happen. AND, this seems to be a situation that is tailor-made for the Panthers, Tepper, and a historic Coach/Player reunion.
Interesting scenario.....
