Well, once again Jaycee Horn's career is under a mountain of doubt. No doubt about his ability, just about his fragility. Horn will miss the rest of OTAs and Mandatory Minicamp. He will be in a 'walking boot' until the start of Training Camp (at least..). He somehow managed to injure his "other" ankle (not the same one..) while working out on his own. No surgery is expected this time.

Crazy! I love the dude. Maybe he needs some milk?
He Horn’s talk about having only breaks, not soft tissue damage. What’s this one? Feel bad for him. 2 months, (6-8 weeks) another bone, or other?
Strange. I just read an article like three days ago where JayCee was miffed that people were calling him "injury prone", and that people didn't know him, yada yada yada, and yet that's the first thing I thought of when I read this.

I'm not sure...?? The way it reads, I assume it's a bad sprain, strain, or ligament damage of some sort. I've had several BAD sprains, "pulls", and "tears" over the years. Severe enough to require being immobilized.... And they are NOT fun. Some say that these "soft-tissue" injuries can be worse than breaks...... AND I agree.
I HATE it for him.

You know.... I think you're right. He's missed a lot of time the last two years. It's almost like he's still a rookie. I really HATE this, but I have a feeling that his career is going to be a troubled one...(Worse than it is now...). The way I heard it, this injury occurred while he was working by himself. Another non-contact injury.
SMDH...

YEP.... Whether you call it "injury prone" or "bad luck", it's a moot point. The end result is the same. One highly rated and highly drafted football player who is not on the field. Maybe he will come back this year and play all 17 games and win DPOY. I hope so, because we certainly need the help at CB.

Poor guy has missed 18 games his first two years. And now this injury during a “private” workout session.
Man, I hope it is not much but one has to be concerned not only about this year but also the future. Call it injury prone or not, the dude is hurt a lot… and there just is not much depth there. ??

That's exactly what worries me most about Jaycee and our Defense.
