GM -- TRACKING THE CANDIDATES

I would love to see Dan Morgan get his chance here.  I know there are some who think we should clean house completely.  I have heard that he was the one voice who would disagree with Tepper.  Also, remember Brandon Beane? He was assistant GM under bad Panther GMs..look at him now.  He did one press conference last year that I was very impressed with.

OK..I am a homer ...but Dan has worked for Seattle and Buffalo.  From Fitt he prolly learned what not to do. He has been getting gm interviews for a couple of years.  Don't want to see him get away.

I agree LP. He has wide spread experience… not to mention my daughter’s favorite Panther ever.

I like Dan and love this hiring. But then I saw this and it concerns me:

According to sources, Tepper captained the search for his next GM along with his wife, Nicole, team president Kristi Coleman, Panthers senior assistant coach and longtime NFL head coach Jim Caldwell and Mike Forde, who heads the search firm Sportsology.

I hope Dan will tell him to keep the hell away… and take your wife with you!

It would be interesting to know what kind of input the Sportsology guy  had.  Looks like there is some reorganization of the front office.  Dan's title is a new one.  Jim Caldwell is also interesting.  He has both inside knowledge and some objectivity. I would think he should be willing to tell Tepper the truth, it's not like his career is on the line.

Agree FC, I want Dave and Nicole to reorganize themselves out of it. Go focus on charities.
