SF D played well...they came to play but it fell apart at the end. Mahomes did his thing. He is good.
Did anyone watch that amazon film on QB's?  The training Mahomes does is insane.
It was a great game.

Truthfully.... I don't remember the specific plays. AND I don't have a DVR recording of the game, so I can't go back and look.....

AND MORE IMPORTANTLY --- the game is over and decided and it really doesn't make any difference.....

However, if you will go back and look at your link (ESPN) and use the "tabs" across the page near the top to go to the "Box Score" tab, you will see that the "official" accounting of the game shows a total of seven (7) fumbles. Now, I don't remember them all, so I truly can't say for sure.  But here is a "grab" from that page.... And a second one from the CBS/NFL partnership page showing similar stats.....

I don't know....  Does anyone remember these fumbles..??
Huh

My bad, I did not look at the right page and read it wrong.

There's the scapegoat.  Both Wilks and Shanny made mistakes...both got out coached by the opposing playcallers in the 2nd half.  Shanny taking a lot of heat for his late game management. Needed someone else to blame IMO.

And then, in his postgame session, Bosa flatly said that the defense was not prepared well enough to defend Mahomes running the ball on two back-breaking plays. Once Bosa said this, it was pretty clear that Wilks’ status was in serious jeopardy. Three days later, he was out of a job.

Also lots of talk about how SF wanted Wilkes to run the same defense they had been running for the past few years, but it was not a scheme that Wilks knew or had any experience with.  So the DC had to come in a learn the scheme and make no changes.  Please tell me how smart that is?

NOT smart….
Everyone, from HC up thru FO people, need to learn how to manage their expectations.  How smart is it to hire a DC (or an OC or STC) and then handcuff them by saying “do it my way”. If you want someone to echo YOUR thoughts…. Why don’t you just do it yourself.??
